Summary of Booking Terms
- A flat-rate deposit of €500 per person secures your place on any Weeklong Tour.
- Final payment is not required until 60 days prior to your departure date.
- Make one change to your booking (either a tour or tour date) free of charge, subject to availability. Further changes will incur an administration charge of €100. All changes must be made at least 60 days prior to departure date.
1.Booking Acceptance
A booking is accepted by Green Door, only when we, or our agent have either
- Received a €500 deposit per person and confirmed your booking by email if your booking is made more than 60 days in advance of your tour departure OR
- when we have received payment in full and confirmed your booking by email if your booking is made less than 60 days before your tour departure.
On receipt of payment and booking form as detailed above, subject to availability and at our discretion, Green Door will reserve the client a place on a tour.
- Pricing
All prices are quoted in Euro (€) and are per person unless otherwise stated. Green Door Tours reserves the right to adjust prices due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. fuel increases, supplier changes) but any confirmed bookings will not be affected.
- Cancellation
Cancellation of a client’s booking must be notified in writing to Green Door Tours. Cancellation charges are calculated on the day when written notification is received by Green Door.
- More than 60 days before tour: Deposits are non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable.
- 60 days or less: Deposit and balance payment are both non-refundable.
Once the tour has started, no refunds will be made under any circumstances.
If the reason for the client’s cancellation is covered by the client’s insurance policy, this is entirely a matter between the client and their insurer.
All participant names on bookings can be changed, so that there is full flexibility on who can join the tour (please note maximum numbers apply due to vehicle capacity).
Business cancellations: If Green Door Tours cancels a tour (due to low numbers, weather, or unforeseen events), guests will receive
- A full refund OR
- The option to transfer to another tour date
- Changes to the itinerary
We reserve the right to alter routes, accommodations or schedules due to:
- Weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Supplier availability
We will always aim to provide a similar or better experience.
- Travel Insurance
Green Door Tours’ Liability to the Customer
Although we take the greatest care to ensure that everything runs smoothly on your trip, accidents can happen. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to take out adequate insurance cover prior to travel for loss or damage to personal property, personal injury or illness, medical expenses and cancellation expenses. Please note that neither Green Door Tours, its employees nor its agents can accept any liability relating to personal injury or illness, loss or damage to personal equipment, or any other unforeseen events that occur during your tour.
- Customer Responsibilities
We want our guests to have fun and enjoy themselves safely. So, to protect you, here are some requirements for your stay.
Guests must ensure they are fit to participate in the tour. Any medical conditions that may affect participation should be please disclosed in advance.
Please arrive on time for scheduled meeting points and departures.
For safety and smooth running of the tour, customers agree to follow all reasonable instructions given by the tour guide.
Green Door assumes no responsibility for any medical care provided to you.
The client is responsible for all travel arrangements and costs to/from the point of commencement/conclusion of the tour.
- Force Majeure
Where war or terrorist activities, threatened or actual, civil unrest, industrial action, threatened or actual, weather conditions, pandemic, fire, flood, drought, airport regulations or closures, unforeseen alterations to public transport schedules and rescheduling of aircraft or any other event outside the control either delays or extends the tour or compels a change in prior arrangements, Green Door Tours cannot accept liability for any resulting loss, damage or expense to the customer.
Payment Details………. An invoice will be generated and sent via email.
